Yes, it’s true — CanGift is turning 50!

For over 40 years, CanGift has been producing the much-loved Alberta Market in Edmonton. A true champion of the shop local spirit, this regional show has been a cornerstone for Western buyers, rounding up the best in gifts, home, and lifestyle products.

Since 1976, CanGift has been the voice of Canada’s gift, home & lifestyle industry, connecting suppliers and retailers and building a community that’s stronger together.

What started 50 years ago has grown into a dynamic national Association network, supporting hundreds of suppliers and tens of thousands of retailers. Along the way, we’ve built a one-of-a-kind platform. We have the longstanding Toronto Gift + Home Market, Western Canada’s beloved regional event in Edmonton, Alberta (of course!), and now the brand-new Atlantic Gift + Home Market co-locating with Craft East Buyers’ Expo. These are exciting times for our industry! Together, these stages give suppliers and buyers the perfect arena to showcase products, spot trends, and make those all-important face-to-face connections.
